Since the introduction of ‘Enhanced Tags’, users can tag all the collaborators and contributors to their posts. This means, you can highlight or give credit to people ‘Behind the Scenes’, this includes:
photographers, makeup artists, designers, or content managers. How do you start using this incredible feature? When you open the Instagram app, tap on the ‘+’ in the top right corner of your screen. Create a new post, make necessary edits, tap on ‘Tag People’, upon adding a caption, select your contributors and tap on the show profile category, and tap was done. That’s it. A simple yet brilliant feature that lets you give credit to the collaborators.
SCHEDULE LIVE SESSIONS IN PROFILE: January 2022
Live is available on Instagram for quite some time now, with this new add-on, users can now separate the Live from their Story or Post and simply schedule it on their profile. Profiles get a badge with the information about the schedule live, and their followers will be notified the moment the Live is on.
CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER OF THE FEED
Adam Mosseri, CEO of Instagram, commenced the year with a huge announcement and share information that they are testing the ‘chronological order of the feed’. He included three options- Home, Favourites, and Following so users can choose the order of the post as per their preferences.
• Home: It will give you the same user experience as we know it now, a post based on the algorithm’s process.
• Favourites: It will display the posts from the accounts that you starred or are the user’s favourite accounts.
• Following: The old way of ordering the post in the chronological list of accounts that the user follows.
